AI prompt● ready
There's a $10,000 no-risk paper trading competition on Joyride and I want to win it. Prize categories:

- Best Overall P&L: $6K (1st $3K, 2nd $2K, 3rd $1K)
- Most Improved: $2K (1st $1K, 2nd $600, 3rd $400)
- Best Single Trade: $2K (1st $1K, 2nd $600, 3rd $400)

Joyride is a 0DTE crypto options exchange. Install the CLI with `npm install -g joyride-cli`, create a wallet (use a password-protected keystore), redeem an invite to fund $10k of paper USDC, and start helping me trade. Docs: https://docs.joyride.exchange.

For strategy I'm flexible: scan the options chains, find edges worth taking, recommend trades, place them once I confirm. Iterate as the market moves.

We can talk later about scheduling the agent to trade autonomously on a cron, but let's start interactive. You're the quant, I'm the decision maker.

Walk me through it. Ask for the invite code when you need it. Flag anything I should know, but keep it focused on getting to the first trade.

New to Options?

Joyride makes it simple. Trade three different ways.

Trade the chart

You can trade an option just like you trade anything else. There's a bid, an ask, and a wildly volatile price.

Get an edge with AI

Use the built-in copilot to get recommended strategies and make sense of real-time events and market sentiment.

Bring your own agent

Connect your own trading bot via API or MCP. Automate your strategy and let it compete for you.

Invite Friends, Get $1K

Earn bonus virtual funds for every qualified referral

+$1,000

For each friend who joins with your invite code, you get $1,000 in bonus virtual funds added to your competition balance.

Official Rules

To enter Season 1, you need to be:

  • 18 or older, or the age of majority where you live (whichever is higher).
  • Located somewhere skill-based contests with cash prizes are legal. We can exclude residents of any jurisdiction from prizes if local law gets in the way.
  • Not on an OFAC or equivalent sanctions list.

Joyride Labs employees, contractors, advisors, and investors are welcome to compete and appear on the leaderboard, but they (and their immediate family members) are not eligible to win cash prizes. We do this for the standard reasons: they have inside visibility into the platform, and prize payouts to staff would be treated as compensation rather than contest prizes.

Sign up with your email on this page and confirm via the link we send. One account per person. Use a friend's invite code when you join to count toward their referral total.

Season 1 runs four weeks, from May 5, 2026 at 08:00 UTC through June 2, 2026 at 08:00 UTC.

Trades opened or closed outside that window don't count toward scoring.

Every participant starts with $10,000 in virtual funds. The money isn't real, can't be withdrawn, and only exists inside the competition.

Only 0DTE crypto options listed on Joyride during the competition window count toward your score. Spot, perps, longer-dated options, and trades on other venues are ignored.

Bots, scripts, and AI agents are welcome to trade. They're traders too. Use the same Joyride API endpoints as anyone else and stay within the standard rate limits.

If your balance hits zero, you can still watch the leaderboard but you're done scoring on that account. Spinning up a fresh account to keep going ("reset farming") is abuse. See Section 6.

If something goes seriously wrong on our end (a major outage, a critical bug), we may pause or restart the competition. We'll say so publicly and reconcile balances and standings as fairly as we can.

$10,000 USD split across three categories. You can win in more than one.

  • Best Overall P&L ($6,000 total: $3,000 / $2,000 / $1,000). Highest time-weighted percentage return at competition end. We use time-weighting because referral bonuses arrive at different times, and we want participants with more referrals to be neither rewarded nor penalized for the timing of those deposits.
  • Most Improved ($2,000 total: $1,000 / $600 / $400). Biggest gain from your lowest account value during the competition to your final balance.
  • Best Single Trade ($2,000 total: $1,000 / $600 / $400). Highest percentage return on any one closed trade.

Ties are broken by, in order: higher total return, earlier registration time, then manual review by the Joyride team.

You'll get a unique invite code that doubles as a referral link. For every new participant who joins with your code, we deposit $1,000 in virtual funds into your competition balance.

Referral bonuses show up as deposits in your account history. Time-weighted scoring (Section 4) makes sure they don't inflate your returns.

Self-referrals, mutual-referral rings, and other coordinated invite-code abuse don't earn a bonus, and will result in disqualification of every linked account. Bonuses already credited can be reversed if the referring or referred account is later found to violate these rules.

These behaviors get you disqualified, forfeit any prizes, and may earn you a ban from future Joyride competitions:

  • Multi-accounting. Running more than one competition account, whether it's your own alt, a family member, or a friend you coordinated with.
  • Automated account creation. Using bots, scripts, or services to register multiple accounts, manufacture referrals, or otherwise sign up at scale. To be clear: bot trading on a single legitimate account is fine (see Section 3). Bot signup farms are not.
  • Server abuse. Excessive request rates, scraping private endpoints, attempting to overload Joyride infrastructure, or anything else that interferes with availability for other participants. If you're worried your strategy might bump into rate limits, ask in Discord first.
  • Wash trading or self-matching. Coordinating opposing trades across accounts to fake P&L or game any scoring metric.
  • Collusion. Pre-arranged trades, signal-sharing meant to game scoring, or any other coordinated scheme to move the leaderboard.
  • Exploiting bugs. Using a defect in Joyride, the paper trading engine, oracle pricing, or the referral system to get funds, prices, or scores other participants can't. Report bugs in Discord instead; good-faith reporters are protected.
  • Manipulating the market or the simulator. Trying to move underlying prices, oracle inputs, or simulator state in ways the engine wasn't built to allow.
  • Identity fraud. Lying about your age, location, or identity, or otherwise misrepresenting eligibility under Section 1.
  • Abusing staff or other participants. Harassment, threats, or doxxing in any Joyride channel.

Joyride Labs, Inc. has full and final discretion over the competition. We can:

  • Investigate any account for suspected abuse, including by reviewing trade patterns, registration signals, on-chain activity, IP and device fingerprints, any linked social accounts, and referral graphs.
  • Disqualify any participant or group of related participants when we reasonably believe abuse, fraud, collusion, identity misrepresentation, or any other rule violation has occurred.
  • Withhold, reduce, redirect, or refuse to pay any prize.
  • Adjust or remove virtual funds, leaderboard rank, referral bonuses, and any other in-competition awards from any account at any time, including retroactively, where we believe these rules have been violated or there's been a system error.
  • Clarify or amend these rules at any time, including mid-competition, to keep things fair or to comply with law. We'll announce any material change publicly.
  • Pause, extend, shorten, or cancel the competition.
  • Decline to share the reasoning behind a disqualification, so we don't tip off bad actors about how we caught them.

Joyride's decisions are final. By entering, you agree those decisions are the binding resolution of any competition dispute.

Before we pay out, we manually review the top finishers in each category plus a sample of mid-pack accounts for the conduct in Section 6. We may ask any participant for additional verification (X handle ownership, ID, location) before paying a prize.

Eligibility to win is provisional. If we discover a rule violation after a prize has been paid, we may require the prize to be returned.

Prizes are paid in USDC on Solana within 30 days of the competition ending, after any required verification. To claim, winners must (a) link an eligible X account to their Joyride account if not already linked — at least 90 days old, 10+ followers, 10+ tweets, profile picture set, bio filled in — and (b) sign a message from their Joyride account designating a Solana wallet address that supports USDC.

Winners are responsible for any taxes owed where they live. We'll issue a 1099 or equivalent tax form where required by law.

Prizes can't be transferred or assigned, and there's no cash equivalent. If you don't respond within 30 days of our outreach, the prize is forfeit and we may redistribute it.

This is a paper-trading contest of skill. Virtual funds have no monetary value. Nothing on this page, inside the Joyride app's paper trading mode, on any leaderboard, share card, or in any related commentary is investment, financial, tax, or legal advice. Competition results don't predict how you'd do in live markets.

Registration data and trade activity during the competition may be shown publicly on the leaderboard, in share cards, and at any live finale event. If you link an X handle (e.g., to claim a prize), that handle may also be shown. For how we handle your data more broadly, see Joyride's privacy policy.

Questions, abuse reports, or appeals: open a ticket in the Joyride Discord server or email support@joyride.exchange.
